Japanese Experiencing Japanese Kindness and Hospitality
Going to Japan was my dream and experiencing Japanese Hospitality myself assured that aspiration. My two-year journey to get my dream job in my dream country was not an easy challenge. With the support of everyone throughout my journey, along with experiences I gained from countless opportunities from the FAST OFFER Program, and by improving myself even more at each step I go through, I was able to reach my dream of working here in Japan.
The moment when I first landed in Japan, I fell in love with everything, perhaps especially Japanese hospitality. The warmth and kindness of the people made an immediate impression on me. Everyone is so welcoming and warm! They are unhesitantlly kind and helpful even to strangers.
On the Shinkansen or the Metros of their locals, they would kindly help me; I was moved by their kindness. Their eagerness to assist, explain, and ensure I understood how to avoid future problems exemplified their generosity and work ethic. Whenever I am facing a problem, they eagerly help me out, and explain to me how to do it correctly. They are also extremely hard working. That experience is something that I will never forget.
Mastering Japanese was still met with Japanese hospitality!
Learning Japanese has always been a significant challenge, but my determination never wavered. To achieve my dream of working in Japan, I did a lot of things to understand Japanese. I would ask my Japanese friends and teachers, learn all the things about Japanese that I found difficult, then practicing it again by myself. Their patience and willingness to support me were invaluable. Japanese hospitality seems to be so embedded in their culture that I even experienced it while learning Japanese. Everyone was so kind in helping me on my journey! I I almost can’t believe it’s a reality now that I will be working in Japan. Reflecting on my journey, I am profoundly grateful for the collective effort that helped me turn my dream into reality.
