Everything You Need to Know about the Free Japanese Classes
Why are Japanese classes exclusive to Engineering students?
Japan constantly faces a labor shortage for engineering graduates. This is reflected in the needs of the Japanese companies ASIA to JAPAN is partnered with. It must be noted, however, that the job-hunting segment of our program is open to other degrees if they meet the language requirement by their own means and are either final year students or fresh graduates.
How fluent in Japanese do you need to be for Japanese job interviews?
Our classes aim to give students by the end Japanese-job-interview-ready Japanese and NOT a JLPT N3 certificate, and also NOT perfect Japanese. The curriculum is designed to emphasize the students’ ability to navigate, analyze, and express themselves in Japanese conversation. Job interviews typically require students to introduce themselves, answer questions, ask questions, and talk about their final year project. In contrast, a JLPT N3 will place importance on your written ability.
How fast can you learn Japanese with FAST OFFER International?
There are many factors that affect the length of your language learning.

- Egyptian university students are typically offered a longer timeline due to challenges faced due to time zone differences.

What’s the process like from the Japanese classes to getting a job offer?
- In their final year of study, once students finish the JLPT N3 classes, without needing to get JLPT N3 certification, students are screened by the FAST OFFER International staff for their readiness for the job hunt.
- Once they pass, students have career conversations, submit documents, and start the job matching process.
- Career advisors show prospective Japanese companies a shortlist of students.
- Interested Japanese companies will then conduct their interviews with the students they choose during the monthly interview events with FAST OFFER International. Students who are chosen by three or more companies qualify for a sponsored trip to Japan to take the interviews in person.
- Students typically get a job offer if they pass the second interview round with a company.
What are the requirements to join the Free Japanese Classes?
- Qualified Degree

FAST OFFER Free Japanese Classes for Complete Beginners (JLPT N5)
These classes are open to students with little to no knowledge of the Japanese language. They are typically promoted with the help of partner-universities with robust engineering programs.
How to join the JLPT N5 University-Partnered Japanese Classes?
Whether you learn about our Japanese classes through your university, our SNS platforms, emails if you are in our database, or your friends, it all leads to registering for the classes through our Japanese Classes page. Find the class that applies to you, review the details and eligibility rules, and register before the deadlines.
When can I sign up for classes?
Registration usually opens 1-2 months before the first day of class. Registration closes about 2 weeks before classes start. Classes generally start around the same time as the local academic year.
Please note that depending on the class level, you must register with enough time left at your university. Ideally, you can start with us from your 2nd to 3rd year at university.
All students are screened for eligibility, and we need time between the registration period and the first day of class. If you’re in a hurry, you can self-study to JLPT N5 certification, then sign up for our worldwide Japanese classes that start at JLPT N4. Our free online worldwide Japanese classes are open all-yearlong every time we have enough qualified students sign up.
Do you need to be enrolled at a partner-university?
No, you do not need to be enrolled at the Japanese class’s partnered university to join the class. The classes are held online, so it may be attended from any part of the country. However, students from a partner university may enjoy some benefits.
What are the benefits of being enrolled at a partner university?
- For some universities that give credits for the classes, you basically become a FAST OFFER International scholar! Your performance is credited, and the tuition fee for the class is sponsored.
- The classes are synced with your academic calendar. This allows you to work on the classes the same way you would do other classes.
- Though the classes are online, because you have classmates from the same university, you can independently form an in-person community with your classmates. As we’ve witnessed plenty in our successful stories, having a supportive group of classmates or friends who can encourage you and practice Japanese with you can greatly help you succeed.

How to join the JLPT N4 – JLPT N3 Worldwide Free Japanese Classes?
You must fulfill the following:
- Active students studying at universities
- Able to Speak English
- Students majoring in Aerospace / EEE / EnTC / Electrical / Electronics / Engineering / Marine Engineering / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics at the Bachelor’s or Master’s academic level
◇NOTE: We ONLY accept Biomedical Engineering major students
at the MASTER academic level. - Commitment to attend the classes until the very end.
- Desires to work in Japan after graduation
- Graduation Period within the Time period listed below:
- For N4 (Upper-Beginner Class): 1-2 years before graduating
- For N3 (Intermediate Class): Currently in the final year or up to 3 years before graduating

Can students learning Japanese outside of the FAST OFFER International program transfer to this program?
Yes, but you must pass online screening interviews to join your chosen class level and qualify for the other eligibility rules.
Exclusive to Students from India: Join AtoJ Hirameki’s Enroll with Japanese Classes to learn Japanese faster
FAST OFFER International partnered with AtoJ Hirameki for students based in India. The classes do require a tuition fee, but students have the option for online or offline classes, intensive classes designed to finish faster, bootcamps to polish interview skills, and more. Some students, through specialized classes, learn Japanese from scratch in just a few months during their final year in university. These classes are also open to more degrees than our free Japanese classes allow. After finishing your chosen course with AtoJ Hirameki, you will then transition to FAST OFFER International’s free job-hunting assistance.
