Introduction to FAST OFFER Program

What is FAST OFFER International?

FAST OFFER International is a program created by its parent company- ASIA to JAPAN, dedicated to bridging the gap between talented international candidates and their dream careers in Japan. Our interview events open doors for aspiring individuals to leading companies, all at no cost.

Candidates are supported by our dedicated staff from the creation of their profiles through mentoring before and after interviews, as well as guidance during the job acceptance stage. FAST OFFER also holds free Japanese Language courses for active university students.  

How long has FAST OFFER been operating?

FAST OFFER has been operating since 2017. Our interview events are held monthly, either online or offline. 

If selected by three or more companies, we invite candidates to Tokyo for in-person interviews. If chosen by 1-2 companies, we ask candidates for online interviews. Candidates who are unable to attend the in-person interviews due to overlapping exams or submissions can participate online.  

To date, we have hosted over 70 interview events with more than 700 successful candidates (as of March 2025).   

Which countries does FAST OFFER primarily work with?

FAST OFFER primarily has candidates from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Myanmar, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Egypt, and other countries. However, candidates can apply for FAST OFFER irrespective of their country or region of residence.   

What types of companies partner with FAST OFFER?

FAST OFFER partners up with Japanese companies in the IT or production field, having a global outlook. Some of our past clients have featured testimonials on the website. A few example companies include those involved in creating bicycle and fishing components; developing and supporting household applications; automotive products; smart home appliances, and household energy solutions; digital transformation uitilizing AI, IoT, and blockchain as well as developing the B2B SaaS service used in smart devices.   

About Application Process

What is the application process for the FAST OFFER program?

You can register with FAST OFFER with two simple steps:  

Step 1: Click on the「Apply Now」tab on the top of the page  

Step 2: Fill in your profile with relevant details (the more details you provide, the better we can understand your profile).  

That’s it! After completing registration, we will contact you via email or WhatsApp/WeChat for the next steps.

What is the process until the Interview stage?
  1. Document Screening – We will review the details the candidate added to their profile and their uploaded resume (optional). We will update you via email on the results.
  2. FAST OFFER Staff Online Interview Session – If your documents pass, FAST OFFER staff will contact you for an online interview with us to get to know your career goals and assess your Japanese Proficiency
  3. PR Video and Final Year Project Submission- After passing the online session, you will be submitting a 1-minute PR video and your Final Year Project document. This submission completes the profile used for job matching with potential employers. 
Are there any fees or commissions associated with applying or participating in the program?

No, FAST OFFER does not charge the candidates at any step of the process, even after signing a job offer and starting your new career in Japan. FAST OFFER’s parent company ASIA to JAPAN directly receives incentive fees from participating companies.  

What are the eligibility criteria for applying to the program?

Education: Due to visa constraints, the minimum requirement for all candidates is a Bachelor’s degree. We apologize, but we cannot consider diplomas and other certifications.

Japanese Proficiency: Japanese Proficiency in interviews would be necessary for a smooth conversation with the panelists. For STEM candidates, we recommend Proficiency equivalent to the JLPT N4-N3 level. For non-STEM candidates, we recommend Proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2.   

A JLPT certificate is not mandatory but can give candidates a competitive edge.

Can candidates from non-technical backgrounds apply?

Yes, candidates with non-technical or non-STEM backgrounds can also apply for FAST OFFER as long as they fulfill other eligibility criteria:  

– Minimum Bachelor’s degree  

– Japanese Proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2  

About Interview Process

How does the interview preparation process work?

After being selected for interviews, our staff will conduct online sessions with you to prepare you with all the necessary materials, including polishing your research and project documents, sharing potential interview questions, and conducting mock interviews. In some cases, we may enlist an external mentor for additional support.   

What types of job opportunities are available through FAST OFFER?

FAST OFFER partners with Japanese companies in the IT or production field that have a global outlook. Job position vacancies change with participating companies on a monthly basis. A few of the positions that were available through the program:

STEM: IT Engineers, System Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Development, Service Engineers, Production Engineers, Design & Development, Verification Systems Development, Quality Assurance Operations, Web Application Development, Device Control Software Development, Application Software Development, etc.   

Non-STEM: Accounting & Finance, Sales, Human Resources & General Affairs, General Back Office Operations, System Consultant, Recruiting Advisor, etc.   

What happens if multiple companies select me during the interview event?

After being selected by companies, candidates have time to review and understand the offered job profiles. Candidates can choose to undergo interviews with all the companies they have been selected by or choose to only interview with companies they are interested in the most. The candidate will decide whether or not to accept the interview opportunities.

How can I best prepare for the interview process with potential employers?

While FAST OFFER staff will guide you through interview preparation, here are a few exercises you can try on your own: practicing mock interviews with friends, teachers, or in front of the mirror; conducting a thorough company research; preparing answers to potential questions; watching practice interviews on YouTube or Instagram, etc.   

What are the average timelines for receiving job offers after the interview event?

Typically, FAST OFFER will inform candidates participating in monthly interviews about the results within one to two days of completing the final interview. For irregular interviews due to company tests or HR sessions, we will provide the results within approximately one week.   
However, the detailed timeline for interviews and results differ company to company.

Tokyo In-Person Interviews

How often are the in-person interview events held in Tokyo?

FAST OFFER holds in-person events at least 3-4 times a year. We will inform candidates about traveling to Tokyo for interviews during the selection stage of the interview process. 

How can I participate in the In-Person Interviews?

We invite candidates selected by three or more companies to Tokyo for in-person interviews. We invite candidates selected by 1-2 companies to online interviews. Candidates who are unable to attend the in-person interviews due to overlapping exams or submissions may participate in online interviews instead.  

We will invite candidates who are already in Japan to in-person interviews based on the companies that select them.

What should I expect during the interview event in Tokyo?

The interview event in Tokyo will be 6 days long-  

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo  

Day 2: Group Orientation, One-on-One Orientation with the FAST OFFER staff  

Day 3, Day 4: Interviews  

Day 5: Company Visit and Wrap-Up Party  

Day 6: Departure from Tokyo  

Are travel and accommodation expenses covered for the interview event?

Yes! FAST OFFER covers travel to Japan (flights), travel within Japan for the FAST OFFER schedule (trains), and hotel accommodation expenses. The visa application fee, as well as costs for food and souvenirs, will be paid by the candidates themselves.   

What kind of mentoring and support can I expect during the program?

After being selected for interviews, our staff will conduct online sessions with you to prepare you with all the necessary materials, including polishing your research and project documents, sharing potential interview questions, and conducting mock interviews. During your visit to Tokyo, you will have a group orientation as well as individual orientation with your mentor for last-minute interview preparation.   

What kind of visa support can I expect from FAST OFFER for the interview trip to Japan?

FAST OFFER will provide all the necessary documentation required for the visa application. The candidates cover the visa application fee.  

About Transition to Life in Japan

How does FAST OFFER assist with the transition to living and working in Japan?

Before your move to Japan, FAST OFFER holds orientation sessions to familiarize you with the unique systems in Japan, such as housing rules, garbage disposal rules, using IC transportation cards, public transportation, and a guide to different stores for purchasing daily essentials. Additionally, depending on the company, someone may assist you after landing in Japan to visit the ward office for residence card registration, the bank for opening an account, or the post office for address registration, among other services.   

FAST OFFER also hosts alum meet-ups, allowing you to interact with people from diverse companies and countries who came to Japan with the same goals and dreams as you. 

What kind of support does FAST OFFER provide for securing a visa and accommodation in Japan?

Visa and accommodation differ according to each company. For many companies with FAST OFFER, either the company HR or FAST OFFER onboarding staff will support documentation for a visa. Some companies offer company housing, while others introduce candidates to agents who can assist them in finding accommodation. Some companies may also cover rent (either full or some percentage of rent) through salary benefits.
